A voice recorder taken out of a toy teddy bear was dropped in for a repair. It didn’t sound as before.
Two brackets for button batteries were broken and another one rusted from an old battery. We were asked to fix it not because it’s valuable, but because there is valuable voice record in it.
The teddy bear was bought 10 years ago and belongs to the lady customer’s children. Just a few days ago, on the Father’s Day, her children recalled there was their dad’s voice recorded on it. But when they press the button, it made no sound which must have disappointed them. I was told the children’s dad died years ago, and the children used to sound the teddy bear when they missed him. What a sad story it would be if the voice recorder couldn’t be fixed.
